The most venerable sacrament is the blessed Eucharist, in which Christ the Lord himself is contained, offered, and received, and by which the Church continually lives and grows. The eucharistic Sacrifice, the memorial of the death and resurrection of the Lord, in which the Sacrifice of the cross is forever perpetuated, is the summit and source of all worship and Christian life. By means of it the unity of God’s people is signified and brought about, and the building up of the body of Christ is perfected. The other sacraments and all the apostolic works of Christ are bound up with, and directed to, the blessed Eucharist.

Faith Formation Classes are offered at Sacred Heart Church for students in grades 1-12. It is our goal to offer classes that teach children the beliefs of the Catholic Church that have been passed down from generation to generation. We want our students to understand what we believe as Christians and how to live out those beliefs.
In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. Often Confirmation is depicted as baptism with fire. The Sacrament includes the laying on of hands and the anointing with the holy oil, Chrism.
God built His Church and continues to renew it through the gift of His Holy Spirit given in the Sacrament of Confirmation. We believe teens who have received that gift and live it out in their lives are a way of God renewing the world!
